Each term we have a programme of evening events which are a mixture of talks, mini-workshops, show-and-tell and a variety of inspirational evenings. We also run daytime workshops and where possible we try to organise these so that they are on a Saturday although this is not always possible.

Some of our members form house groups and work together on projects or simply enjoy the support of working in a small group on a regular basis. Work from our members is regularly exhibited at the annual Festival of Quilts at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham.

On a historical note Wessex Quiltmakers hosted the first AGM of the Quilters Guild in April 1980 at King Alfred’s College, Winchester.
