WQ members are making quilts to donate to the Linus Project which aims to provide a sense of security and comfort to sick and traumatised babies, children and teenagers through the provision of new home made patchwork quilts and knitted/ crocheted blankets,
We hope to have plenty of these quilts to display at the exhibition this summer (17th/18th August 2018) and to then give them to Project Linus who will have a stall at the exhibition.
Size: smallest is 16″x 20″-usually used for the top of an incubator for premature babies- but they can be any size up to 48″x60″
Fabrics: cotton and easily washable. You can back them with fleece in which case they will be just two layers or you can use the traditional 3 layers. The final quilt must be washable.
NB: do NOT add buttons, beads etc.
